The dSPACE is used widely now a days to validate the theoretical algorithms. The data file is usually in Microsoft access format that can be plotted using MATLAB. The data extraction is particularly helpful in genrating IV and PV curves based on the experimental data.
Optocouplers are widely used in power electronics to isolate the power stage with the control area. Every optocoupler has a limit of operating frequency. Recently, while working with my hardware setup i noticed that the optocoupler i am using is not good for high frequency. Below are the results i obtained while trying to switch my 4N26 optocoupler.

While simulating a grid connected PV system using co-simulation among PSIM and SIMULINK i was getting error. The error stated thatAlgebraic state in algebraic loop containing 'SCMPPT_sensorless_v4_buckboost_ok/Product3' computed at time 0.0005 is Inf or NaN. There may be a singularity in the solution. If the model is correct, try reducing the step size (either by reducing the fixed step size or by tightening the error tolerances).
